Norbert H. Kox returned from London, November 27, 2002, where he and William Thomas Thompson attended the Outsider Art Symposium at the Tate Museum of Modern Art (Nov. 23). It was hosted by John Maizels, editor and founder of Raw Vision magazine, who gave the two a very thorough introduction, recognizing their accomplishments to the International audience.

While in London, Kox and Thompson painted a collaboration called
"Control Towers: Cleopatra's Needles"
. It is 1.5 feet high by 7.5 feet wide (framed 2 feet by 8 feet). 

Their artwork was exhibited in an art show at Raw Vision, with several other artists, November 24, 2002 (the day after the symposium) showing William's 150-ft Revelation Revealed painting, and eight of Kox's small paintings, as well as the new collaboration painted in London. The exhibit was attended by more than 300 visitors from all around the world.

Kox and Thompson were both asked  by Henry Boxer, a top European gallery,  to handle their work.  Other American artists represented by
Henry Boxer are Joe Coleman, Alex Grey,  and Anne Grgich.

Kox has been painting and sculpting for 40 years, since 1962. His work has received extensive coverage and attention in the Midwest for the past 15 years, and both National and International attention since 1996. It has appeared in countless newspaper articles since 1988. Several major articles about his work have been published in international art magazines, including Raw Vision and World Art. Kox's work has received major coverage in three books. A fourth book is in publication now. And he has an agreement with a major publisher in Los Angeles to publish a book with his writings and artworks.

Kox's 1999 exhibit, To Hell and Back, received national media coverage, and remained in the news for 3.5 months, including many television broadcasts and several radio talk shows. It was also protested by the New York Catholic Defense League, and was picketed by local fanatics.

His works have been in shows and galleries from the East Coast to the West Coast of the United States. His paintings range from miniatures, starting at around $500, to large works for $60,000. Average price range is $10,000 to $20,000. Smaller works range from $1,200 to $5,000.

Norbert Kox artwork has appeared in the New York Outsider Art Fair for the past nine years.

He was exhibited in six of the eight shows at the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM), in Baltimore, since it has opened. They are listed as follows:
